Start-Stop System Deactivation: Always Off
In this mode, the automatic engine start-stop system remains off every time the engine is started. Exceptionally, the system can be activated by selecting the eco pro mode or pressing the start-stop system button. After the engine stops and restarts, the system is deactivated again, and an LED on the system button indicates that the system is off.
Start-Stop System Deactivation: Remembers Last State
In this mode, after the engine starts, the automatic engine start-stop system remains in the state it was in before the engine was turned off. If the system was off before the last engine shutdown, it will remain off when restarted.
Automatic Window Closing with Door Open
This function allows automatic window closing with the door open. Initially, if you opened the door and decided to close the window, it was only possible by holding the closing button. After activating this function, a single press of the button is sufficient to close the window automatically, even with the door open.
Marker Lights Mode: Daytime Running Light (DRL) Brightness
This function allows the ring lights to be as bright as in DRL mode when the marker lights are on. It is useful if you want the rear marker lights to be on during the day.
Exterior Door Handle Lighting When Reversing
This function enables the exterior door handle lights when reversing. It is useful at night to attract more attention to the reversing vehicle from nearby cars and pedestrians.
Cabin LED Lighting Independent of Dashboard Brightness Adjustment
This adjustment allows only the instrument cluster brightness to be regulated, while the rest of the lighting, including the main computer, remains at 100% brightness. The brightness of other lighting can be changed via the iDrive system menu if desired.
Fog Lights Turn Off with High Beams
This function turns off the fog lights when the high beams are activated and turns them back on when the high beams are turned off.
Headlight Washers and Wipers Settings
This function allows configuring the headlight washers, changing the number of activation pulses (default is 2), the number of wiper activations between washer sprays, or completely disabling the headlight washers.
Daytime Running Lights On/Off
When this function is activated, it allows turning the daytime running lights on or off through the iDrive system. A "Daytime Running Lights" option appears in the "Lighting Settings" menu. When deactivated, the ring lights are off in the AUTO and 0 light modes, and in the marker lights mode, they light up at half intensity.
Sport Indicators
Activating this function makes the torque and horsepower indicators visible, showing the values generated by the engine during acceleration. The "Sport Indicators" option appears in the "Vehicle Status" menu of the iDrive system and is also opened in Sport or Sport+ mode. This function works in CIC and NBT systems, but on small monitors, the scales appear but do not function.
Video Playback via USB, NBT Only
This function enables video playback from USB storage devices, including external hard drives. The system supports a wide range of video formats and allows video files to be stored in the system's internal memory.
Seatbelt Warning Signal Deactivation at Ignition
When this function is deactivated, the audible warning signal and indicator for an unfastened seatbelt at ignition are removed. The red seatbelt indicator light on the instrument cluster remains on, and a graphical alert and audible signal appear on the cluster screen when driving with an unfastened seatbelt.
Seatbelt Warning Signal Deactivation While Driving
When this function is deactivated, the graphical alert and audible signal for an unfastened seatbelt are removed while driving and with the ignition on. The red seatbelt indicator light on the instrument cluster is also removed.
Cornering Lights: Fog Lights Activation on Steering
This function uses fog lights to illuminate the direction of a maneuver. It is default on VAG-group and Mercedes vehicles. With low beams on, one of the fog lights activates in the direction of the turn or when the turn signals are on. This function is useful for better visibility during maneuvers at night due to the fog lights' wide side illumination.
Displaying Current Speed on the Onboard Computer
Activating this function allows displaying the current speed in digital format on the instrument cluster.
Deleting Empty Line from Onboard Computer
This option removes the empty selection from the onboard computer on the instrument cluster. When scrolling through options with the onboard computer button, the empty selection is no longer displayed.
M-Performance Logo on Instrument Cluster (Extended Version Only)
This allows changing the welcome and farewell animations on the instrument cluster to the M-performance graphic.
Rear Lights On with Daytime Running Lights
This function activates the rear lights when driving during the day with the daytime running lights on. When the daytime running lights are turned off, the rear lights also turn off.
Cold and Hot Lamp Check Deactivation
This deactivates the check for the functionality of incandescent lamps, necessary when replacing them with LED lamps. Due to the low resistance of LEDs, the light module may incorrectly read the lamp as non-functional and turn the bulb off and on for checks, causing flickering. Proper LED operation requires disabling the check and enabling LED mode. This check can be disabled for each external light.
ECO PRO Default Mode
When activated, the engine starts in eco-pro mode by default instead of comfort mode.
Adding Sport+ Mode
Sport+ mode is added in addition to the "eco pro, comfort, and sport" modes. Sport+ differs from Sport mode by having limited stability control, allowing full power enjoyment and drifting. In regular Sport mode, stability control is on. Switching stability control on in Sport mode immediately transitions to comfort mode with torque limitation, indicated on the iDrive screen.
Sport Mode Configuration
To configure Sport mode, select the mode settings menu when switching to SPORT or SPORT+ mode. The menu options allow assigning sport mode to the engine and gearbox, engine only, or gearbox only.
Coasting
In coasting mode, when the accelerator pedal is released, the gearbox shifts to neutral, allowing coasting. Pressing the accelerator selects an appropriate gear, and driving continues normally.
Audible Signal for Alarm Activation/Deactivation
This function adds an "Audible Notification" option in the "Settings – Locking" menu. When activated, a non-loud vehicle factory siren sound is heard from the car when locking and unlocking with the key. This function is available on vehicles with factory-installed alarm systems, identifiable by a translucent, periodically flashing hemisphere under the rearview mirror when the vehicle is locked.
Door Lock Core Disarming Prohibition
Disarming prohibition is available with option 877. When deactivated, the alarm system does not turn off when the door is opened with a mechanical key or screwdriver.
Cruise Control Activation
This adds the active cruise control function. The steering buttons need to be replaced or added if absent. It is also necessary to check if the instrument cluster supports this function (standard instrument clusters). All extended instrument clusters support this function.
TV and DVD Display While Driving
This function allows watching videos while driving, and the image does not disappear when the vehicle starts moving. Internet and live streaming are also not turned off.
Display of Current Gear in S Mode
This function allows seeing the current gear in the automatic transmission in S mode, displaying S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8 instead of DS.
Climate Control AUTO Button Does Not Turn On Air Conditioning
This function allows excluding automatic air conditioning activation when switching from manual to automatic mode. You can activate it manually if needed.
iDrive System Shutdown When Door Opens
When the engine is turned off and the driver’s door opens, the iDrive system shuts down. By default, the system shuts down only after the vehicle is locked with the key.
Changing NBT Startup Animation
This function allows changing the NBT startup animation, with five different animations to choose from.
Volume Scale in iDrive System
This function enables displaying the volume scale on the iDrive screen when adjusting the volume.
Trunk Lid Closing from Key or Cabin Button
Activating this function allows closing the trunk lid from the key or cabin button.
